Let's consider an example of a genetic algorithm for generating mnemonic phrases. Suppose there is a database of 100 million generated seed phrases consisting of words from the BIP-39 dictionary on the server. The program's task is to find a sequence of words that gives access to a Bitcoin wallet with a positive balance.
The evaluation of each sentence from the database is based on the balance of the combination of 12 words. The wallet balance can be positive or zero. Then the algorithm selects the best mnemonic phrases with a positive balance for further crossover. For example, the two best seed phrases can be crossed over by exchanging parts of their genotypes. After crossover, mutation occurs, resulting in some genes in the new genotypes randomly changing. For example, one of the words in the phrase may be replaced. Thus, the program creates a new generation of mnemonic phrases that are evaluated by artificial intelligence based on the wallet balance. The best mnemonic phrases are passed on to the next generation, and the process repeats. The initial state of the software module is the testing of new sets of populations of initial phrases selected by the genetic algorithm for testing the new generation of mnemonic phrases. The program uses machine learning methods based on artificial intelligence to search for initial phrases.
